The Wasilla Home Depot is probably the best hardware store as far as the things within it that you can find in the valley. They are almost identical to Lowe's with a few differences. I would say that the employee engagement experience and individuals with expertise is slightly better at Home Depot versus Lowe's, This excludes calling them over the phone which can be extremely frustrating. It was fine selection was not great for what I needed. Product locations online ca I store are becoming more accurate.
Update 4 yrs later: Your Wasilla, AK location was extremely unprofessional and rude. My husband gets off at 5:30, he got to the store and was IN the store when an employee told him they close at 6pm. My husband says I know exactly where the stuff is, there is a line of people I won't be but a minute. The employee, male had NO name tag and was wearing a brown hoodie, then got worse and told my husband to leave. My husband said "we have no water", the employee said "that's not my problem".
