Needed a fridge after ours failed, surprise surprise 99% of the fridges in store are special order and they do not sell the display models. Carleton place store was the only store that showed any kind of stock. Home Depot Carleton Place – Good stock, but customer service can be very hit-or-miss (especially for assistance or special requests) I've generally had positive experiences with Home Depot overall, but this particular location has been consistently frustrating when I need any kind of help. Key examples: Needed 3 ft of 3" sewer pipe (they only sell 10 ft lengths). Asked if they could cut it in half for transport — flat refusal (against policy). They wouldn't even lend a hacksaw for a 30-second cut. Suggestion: "Rent a truck."... read more
