We had an excellent experience with Bob at the Carleton Place Home Depot. We originally wanted to purchase a pergola, but it was sold out. Bob went above and beyond by arranging for us to buy the floor model at a very generous discount. He was incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of our questions, and made the entire process smooth and stress free. All I wanted was to make a simple online purchase to pick up later today. Online system refused to take my card, repeated calls to the store to arrange had the automated system hanging up on me. Then when I finally got a person was transferred 3 times then hung up on. Tried calling back and once again the phone system hung up on me. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to get a person on the phone but I’m sure Rona or Home Hardware will take my $600
The service here is unequivocal. I've had an electrical employee hold the last of some products for me over the phone, and Bob in the tool department today, just saved me a ton of money by referring the perfect product for what I needed. I had to run home and grab my wallet, and the cashiers had my cart set aside, and my first order (work supplies) rang up and saved on a receipt. Hands down the best Home Depot in the province.
