I made the mistake of trusting Home Depot, Destin to install three sets of French doors. The entire process took almost two years which included delivery, installation, and the follow up post installation when the doors were damaged and installed incorrectly. I would like to highlight the incompetence of the Home Depot to efficiently handle a claim and their lack of commitment to stand behind a product they sold and installed. It is very disappointing that Home Depot can’t change the date of delivery sooner than scheduled when it is available online. I placed an order and the delivery date is May 5th. Online if I go re order it is available April 30. No one at Home Depot is able to change it to April 30th and said I would have to pay $340+ to cancel my order and repurchase to get the date or April 30th. Makes absolutely no sense.

My husband and daughter just went to this Home Depot. Walking up and down isle were employees talking to each other - no offer to help. After they asked for and got help, went to pay. My husband is a Veteran. We are from Alabama and that state puts it on your driver’s license. He also had his VA card. The cashier said they would not take any of that proof. They only take one card that he did not have. My daughter said she guess they would have to go to Lowes. The employee said Go to Lowe’s, we don’t care.
