Half the employees at this Home Depot don't care about the wellbeing of their customers. Today even the man letting the people in the store to control capacity was maskless. What kind of a message is that sending to customers? The customers all wore them but the employees appear to believe they are above that. There is a big sign on the front door saying everyone who enters the store per local ordinance must wear masks. Ordered a wheelbarrow online for store pickup. Trying to practice Social Distancing, you know. Get a call that the only one in stock had no hardware to assemble it. Fine, cancel the order and look to another store, right? Wrong!!! Cancellation email says refund in 3-5 bus days!!! Gift card refund to be sent as store credit in seperate email. 8 days later - no refund!!!!! An hour on hold and I finally get to talk to someone who tells me I have to go in-store to process the refund. So much for practicing Social Distancing!!! S... read more
Wanted to buy a tractor. The ad said they had three in the store and there was free delivery. Nope! The free delivery costs $80. If you expect to get the free delivery promised in the ad, you’re going to have to order it from the home depot website and wait 24 days for it to get delivered from some factory. That’s very misleading. I was expecting free delivery of one of the three in stock at the local store! That’s pretty much what the ad says.
RecommendedI'd like to thank the New Hartford store for offering curbside pickup during this time for my pick up in-store purchase online. Wanting to limit our exposure into public places with the virus and glad they are offering this service. I only wish, judging by the full parking lot ,that more patrons were not taking advantage of it as well.
Hired Home Depot to refinish our cabinets just over a year ago. You can see they never sanded them and now all the paint is falling off. Called contractor they hired and he’s not in business or changed his number. This was not cheap. Beware. Do not do it.
I am in the midst of a washing machine purchase that has gone terribly wrong. If Home Depot spent half as much time providing quality customer service as they doing passing the blame off to someone else they’d be doing great. I bought a washing machine 2 weeks ago that has never worked. Home Depot blames Maytag and Maytag blames Home Depot. The delivery company (XPO) is non-responsive about when they will come to assess the machine. Usually I am on team Orange but I had mixed reviews at this location. As in past experiences, pro check out was smooth and effective. But the associates on the floor were disappointing in this location. Three different people giving me three different locations for one product. What a pain in the butt. Time is money and I don't have time to waste walking in circles.
