So today I went to check out at the local home depot and pay at the self check out aisle. I showed my drivers license with the Veteran stamp from the TxDPS office and the attendant said that it wasn't valid. I needed a valid military ID card. I tried to explain how one gets the stamp on your DL but she wasn't interested. She showed me the 4 types of valid ID cards being Retired, Dependent, Disabled Vet, or Active.
