Visited this store today and Mr.Charlie went out of his way to help me even though the store was extremely busy, very THANKFUL for his time and help.
my cousin stopped on 9/9/20 in to get supplies for his home remodel and attempted to show his veteran's ID for his discount. The cashier advised Home Depot no longer accepts this...Home Depot policy. He has never had issues at any other Home Depot not applying his discount. Shame on you Fairfield Home Depot!
I purchased a $3500 zturn mower. The mower didn't crank the day it was delivered. They said it was the batter and I had to drive 35 miles to the store because apparently Home Depot in Pelham and Fairfield are two different stores and will not service a product purchased at the other. Got the new battery and it struggled to work but did cut grass the one time. The next time, no start. Called, they said it must be the battery again despite it being new. Went and purchased another new battery from the other big box and it crank... read more
How about posting on your website that you'll be closing at 6pm?! Or posting it large enough at the entrance? Spent the last 10 minutes I was there trying to find someone to cut shelving down for me. Then they came as soon as the power was shut off to the tool he needed to cut with. Thanks for nothing. Wasted gas, time, and you lost out on a $150.
they want you to spend money but have to wait in line to get in. not a HUGE problem. but not carts it anything to use. if a smart person ran the store, they would have all the carts near the only entrance. if you need one, go out the exit and then get one near the exits. walk all the way back to the 1 entrance and wait in line to get in yet again. hard pass.
Save yourself the waste of time with lazy associates and drive to Hoover. No one at this store knows where anything is and good luck if you had something shipped to this store. They lose things then always have an excuse instead of just finding a solution. This location should have closed long ago.
I recommend that you go early in the morning to avoid all the people stopping in the isle.
clean store and decent people
I work at Home Depot in the hardware department and the plumbing department. I like working in the Fairfield Home Depot because I grew up in Fairfield. I get to see some of the people I grew up with. It’s not just a part-time job it’s like a reunion seeing old friends.
