Hamden and North Haven CT staff in garden center are absolutely no help. Too busy horsing around with one another. Bad experience today at both stores. Time to do some retraining or hire better people.
As I’m sitting in your parking lot, Shame on you. I am a loyal HD shopper and i have been pushed into debating wether or not I should return to your store. I waited in the Cut Center for over 15 minutes on a slow Thursday evening. Two pages, 5 different coworkers all “assisting” me to get help in the cut center. One co-worker walked through the area and told me they were not a cut associate and left, never offering to get someone over. Every time I visit this Home Depot, I have to wait forever to be taken care of by the staff. Customer service here sucks! I think this will be my last time coming here
This store donated 25 buckets to my music program to do bucket drumming with my students. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite. I highly recommend this store!
Local store called two days ago to say my special order would be delivered from 6-8 am this morning. It’s now 1 pm, no delivery, no call, nothing. I called them at 10:30; the only answer they could give was “they are running a little late.” Called again at 4:00; they claimed the delivery window was actually 6 am - 8 pm (seriously?!) Not that it mattered—they never showed. Recommendation: go to Lowe’s.
We had an Relay for Life event this past weekend and they had said they would come and do birdhouses for the kids and they never showed. Such poor customer service I would never recommend the store and have written corporate about how poor this store is for helping the community.
Note to Veterans, unless you’re a disabled veteran you no longer get the discount. Your VA I’d card must say service connected or else the clerk will turn you away from getting it. Lowe’s has done this too. It’s a shame
