Unacceptable service experience with Home Depot yesterday. Our dishwasher was supposed to be delivered to our home and installed. The delivering party that you hired, decided to call us and tell us that they can't deliver to our home, because the driver can't make it up to our house. LARGE delivery trucks from AshleyHomeFurniture have delivered our furniture and washer and dryer from Costco, so there is NO reason why you cannot. Home Depot sub contracts several departments in their retail stores. These sub-contractors will not return calls or help resolve customer issues. This is the second time I've had this (customer service and product damage) problem with Home Depot. This time, two refrigerators (delivered over 3 weeks) were damaged. Worst customer service ever. Took asking 4 different employees to find out they didn't have an item in stock. 1/2 inch conduit to be exact. One of the most commonly purchased items for commercial electrical. How the hell are you out of stock? Really. Had to ask 4 different idiots to find this out. Waste of time. HOME DEPOT IS NO LONGER FRIENDLY OR SUPPORTIVE OF VETERANS! Home Depot is no longer offering veterans discounts and are debasing, humiliating and disdaining the veterans who ask for the discount. My friend, who is a woman 90% disabled combat veteran, was at the Eugene Home Depot, 808 Seneca Rd, Eugene, OR 97402.
