One of the best vacations I’ve had. I hadn’t been to a ranch in a few decades and wasn’t sure what to expect. The location is spectacular and the staff are even better. The owner John is one of the nicest people around and one of the few ranch owners who interact so much with the guests. The staff were incredible. I can’t say enough wonderful things about UXU Ranch! My sister, cousin, and I did the 4-night experience and had the most incredible time. The staff made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make us feel right at home. We went in having never ridden a horse before, and thanks to the knowledge and guidance of the wranglers, we felt completely comfortable on all the trail rides. Great horseback experience riding through the mountains! All of the cowpersons were very helpful and the horses were gentle.
This was my third time at UXU Ranch, and it just keeps getting better. Which is pretty crazy as the second time there was my engagement! The trail rides with Sutten are my favorite—she is an amazing wrangler who makes every ride fun and memorable! It’s the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and take in the beauty of Wyoming. Beautiful scenery and lodging, staff/wranglers are all so friendly and welcoming, such a great place to escape to and enjoy a slower pace. Can’t wait to go back!
