Historic hotel, great location. Celtic bar/pub was excellent
Great hotel. Things have changed since our last visit. There is no front desk person now. You have to check yourself in. Breakfast is no longer "made to order". There is a restaurant and bar on site where one is treated very well. The covered, secure parking is a big plus. The rooms are clean and nicely boutiquish (if there is such a word).
The most quiet place I've ever stayed- no sound until morning thunder. It would have been nice to have a window to open for fresh air. The parking garage (room key to enter) has 12ft ceiling, about 11ft door, so no problem for my 83"tall van. The restaurant is closed Sunday eve, but looks like it would be a great place to hang out.
This stay at hotel arvon was very nice. History, location, clean, updated, secure parking, friendly staff. The restaurant attached the Celtic Cowboy was great for dinner and has complimentary breakfast for hotel guest which was great. Would definitely make this a pick if in the area again.
We should have asked for help, but we could not figure out how to keep the a/c on. The default settings seemed to be “hear.” Otherwise, great place to stay!
