I came to your leasing office twice to see the apartment at 1217 W. Sacramento Ave - 114, Chico. I clearly stated that I wanted to view the unit and even submitted two applications for this purpose. This process ended up costing me four days of my time. Your employee at the office told me that the responsible staff were not available and that a plan would be arranged for me on 03/09/2026. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The worst management company out there. They will overcharge you, then “lose” your payment and email you as if you never paid them and threaten to send things to collections. They’re awful people who do not care and completely disorganized. The properties aren’t even half of what they’re asking for as well.

UPDATE: The response from the “owner” is a joke. These people don’t care what you think about the way they handle your community. I certainly hope the new board will vote your company out. Hignell is the worst HOA Management company I have ever dealt with. The lack of communication and delayed responses for important issues/matters are way below any business’s expectations. If you have something below zero, i will give them . It’s the worst company in the world. They have zero management, zero accounting, zero security, and their owner knows nothing. If you want to lose your money and your time, join and work with this company. We’ve been fighting for a long time, and these people are trying to collect $1500 from me.
