Bloodsucking HOA management! It is impossible to reason with them. They have an ironclad terms and conditions. Once you buy a home there, you are charges atleast $400 in fines and certified mail every quarter. They charge $25 for certified mail for each voilation(for moving the trash can 12hrs late). They send the initial notice and certified mail at the same time, They don't send any email communication at all related to fines or any important information related to your property. Worst HOA ever. They charge fines like crazy. If the violation charge is $50, they add an additional $25 for certified mail. And they keep compounding it. While no email communication was sent about the fines. If you miss collecting the mails , there goes another $75. The home owners do not have any say in the HOA decisions. They do conduct meetings with the owners but absolutely no action will be taken. However, the house is very good condition. Great location and school.
House that I paid $525k for last year is now being sold for $480k by the builder. I know how the housing market works but the price drop in 1 year feels like I got screwed hard.
