I absolutely loved living here. Every experience with the front office was lovely. They send out a monthly newsletter offering a treat or meal and host the best parties! The grounds are always clean and the pool is perfection. I can't say enough good things about this place.
I have been a resident here since 2018, and my experience has unfortunately been frustrating and disappointing. One major issue is the lack of care and urgency shown by the management towards their residents. Recently, I encountered a serious problem with my kitchen sink, which was completely non-functional. My partner and I were residents at Highland Club for four years. Our first two years were positive, thanks to Samantha’s management—great staff, a nice property, and a good experience overall. But everything changed when new management took over, and it was downhill from there. Starting in 2022, we had ongoing issues with our AC unit that would freeze, flood, and stop working, causing the temperature in our apartment to soar to the mid-to-upper 80s during the summer. Unprofessional staff, not friendly at all. Lived there for 2 1/2 years and while there, a murder took place, gun shots happened multiple times, pool was always over run by people that didn’t live there, and vehicle burglaries. There is not enough parking and to ensure you get a spot near your apartment, you have to pay extra. The office staff is rarely available by phone and when they reply to emails, they are rude. I love living here. The staff is so professional. With Hurricane Francine, they made sure to communicate with residents and send out preparedness tips. I really appreciate the care they showed during this storm and the entire time I've lived here
