My family and I went to High Spot tonight, 12/24/2017 Christmas Eve. HUGE MISTAKE. The food was pre-made with a bad attempt to reheat. Who serves fried green tomatoes with very cold tomatoes inside the very darkened crust? Fish & Chips looked terrible. Cold frites with lukewarm fish. Disgusting! It was the worst experience. Cold and not freshly made food. Plus the waitress was annoyed that she had to deal with these issues. She was not pleasant bordering on rude! I got up and walked out. Totally unacceptable. Our server John provided the perfect service that day. The food, atmoshrere, and ambiance is the one of, if not the best in town.
Always consistent, owner is dedicated to Cambridge and the community ! A must visit restaurant.
The appetizers and entree were delivered together. Smoked chicken tacos weren’t bad but not good either. Salmon was dry and very over cooked. Wait person apologized for problems in the kitchen .. runner took entree plate while second person stil eating..we used to bring guests here. No more. Will be a while before we return..
Amazing food and the pumpkin spice mule was outstanding. Their twist on American cuisine is spot on. :) staff was also fabulous!
