My best friend set up the appointment for me after years of being a stay at home mom, I was so excited to have this time for self care. I showed up 15 minutes early, and waited another 10…. was completely ghosted. No phone call, no text. We were pre charged too…. I called several times and left voicemails and text messages. My wife also (similar review posted hours before on the same day) had a confirmed appointment for Saturday, March 7th, 1pm. Text confirmation, charged already. Showed up to a locked door with no word on what was going on. We'll have to go through a charge back to get our money back now. Terrible experience when we were trying to setup some relaxation time for my wife.
My wife had a confirmed 10am appointment this morning, Saturday March 7th. She was really looking forward to her appointment. Showed up a little before 10am and the sign said open at 11am, by appointment. She waited a half hour and nothing. Called after 11am, nothing. Text and DM, nothing. Charged us in advance and ghosted her. Life happens, cancelations happen. However, being non responsive is bad business. This is my first bad review in over a decade of doing them. Hideout Massage is a proper name for this business.
Mixed feelings-😩🤬😩 I have had her cancel on me with some notice (1 hour) and I have had her ask to bump me out an hour (with no notice at all) and then she never showed up and didn't respond to messages or calls for a few hours after the appointment. So my elderly family member made 2 trips into Corvallis for no one to show. But, when she is there: she does a great job. Just not very dependable.
Kayla provided an excellent massage! I really liked that she asked questions prior to starting and listened to my concerns, checking on me throughout the massage. Would highly recommend!
