About this business
Their cuisine is traditional Hungarian, German. It is very authentic east European as it compares well with dishes we have had in Germany, Czech Republic and Poland. The facade of the restaurant is deceiving and we almost didn't eat there because I though it would be a greasy hamburger joint. I'm so glad we stepped in and look at the back dining area along with reading the menu. Ate there for the first time last night. Very good. They have a very large menu of such diverse food. We had party of 5 and everyone loved it
Tuesday was our first but not last day here at The Henry Station. The potato cakes were delicious. While my husband grew up in a very ethnic neighborhood in Detroit & having a German cooking grandmother, I did not. He thought the cabbage rolls were excellent & I had the best tasting pork stroganoff. The portions were plentiful & the desserts were delightful. The employees were pleasant & friendly. Will definitely return for more!
Today was my first time eating pizza and chicken at Henry St that pizza was the best I loved it and the chicken and Jo Jo were amazing too thank you Ashley and Theo I most certainly will be eating there again �
Stopped in for lunch. I can't wait to bring my husband. Great service and the food was delicious.
I love the decor and the employees are nice, but I would not get the spaghetti again. I thought I would get a small side salad and some bread with it. And I didn't care for the sauce at all. Canned sauce is good if you add spices to it.
