I wish I knew about this earlier because this would have been our go-to stay anytime in Newport (and admittedly, I probably would have gone out of my way to stay more). Breakfast was charming, the owners were attentive and well-versed in the history of Newport and had recommendations at the ready for our itinerary. We followed their advice and had a great time and will have other things to do when we arrive another time!
Stayed here. Clean (though modest) accommodations. Central location near the ocean and the festival grounds and food/entertainment. The breakfast is a great touch, the staff are very kind and helpful. It's everything you need for a few days: big enough room, with a mini fridge, good air con and just knowing someone's feeding you in the morning makes getting up and going easier.
Did this place close? No one responds to emails or phone calls and I have a reservation for next week. Don’t see anywhere that it’s closed. Such a scam.
