Obviously ita getting pretty ghetto, now that the pool has closed im guessing the pool hogs. Are just going to party in the parking lot and make comments at people who seem annoyed. Can wait for a stray bullet to come threw my window, and I have to listen to them blare ghetto music outside my windows. This place needs security or atleast it will soon. My fianc� vacated Unit 453 in July 2026. It is now September 15, and the security deposit has still not been returned. Management has also failed to provide an adequate accounting for the funds being withheld. We have repeatedly attempted to contact this property by phone without receiving a response. Since management has been unwilling or unable to address this directly, we are now documenting the matter publicly. I have had the best experience with the helm!!!! Literally so blessed. The staff here has been AMAZING. My cat escaped without me knowing a few weeks ago and they kept him in the office for me until I was able to get him :)))
I’ve enjoyed the convenient location of The Helm in the west bottoms stockyard district, few minutes to downtown KC. Surrounded by great entertainment at Rock Island Bridge, and a pretty diverse community. The building has a hotel-style feel, with a lobby coffee bar and a full fitness center with cardio and weight equipment. Courtney and Tatyaba in the leasing office have been friendly and welcoming.
Worst apartments ever. First our car was stolen. Then the new cars license plate was stolen. Apartments broken into often. They let random people into the building and they trash the place. It smells, it’s sticky. It’s brand new and I know there’s already bugs. There is no sense of safety or privacy, and the rent keeps going up without any complaints addressed. Run as far as you can from this disaster of a complex.
