Lived here for a year, definitely enjoyed a low energy bill in the summer with the brick building and north facing unit. Winters the building would get warm when the boiler cooked and the washer/dryers are 3rd party. Had newer appliances that worked well and the units are spacious for the price. Would have re-signed but the location was difficult for my commute. Also thoroughly enjoyed Infinity Park and the restaurants in the area.

This is a nice property. The brick and concrete make it quiet and private. The location is central and easy for cycling and transit. The buildings are energy efficient and climate controlled (with a few residents who insist on f'ng it up by opening windows). In the hands of a decent landlord this would earn a 4 or maybe 5 star review. However. I set up an appointment for a tour. They even texted me a few few hours before to confirm! When I arrived, nobody was there. I texted letting them know I was there and they asked me to reschedule for Monday or Tuesday. SO Inconsiderate and rude. I can’t do Monday and Tuesday because I’m working. But honestly, I don’t want to come back. Somebody had the door propped open and I walked into the hall. I moved out some years ago. The place was ok, but the current office staff are very unhelpful. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that she was out walking the premises. No one would provide me with a phone number to talk to her directly. I left my number with the office, and no one ever returned my call. Big corporate company running the place. Is there are option for no stars?

I had posted this review on the Local by Laramar page, but it should be here as well: Zero stars is more appropriate. Do not, under any circumstances, rent from a Local by Laramar property. I lived at the Helix, which could be the absolute cutest apartments in all of Denver if it were not run by the most negligent company. When it was run by Cornerstone, it was paradise - wood burning fireplaces, the elevators worked, the grounds were clean, they communicated well. Now that Local by Laramar owns it, it's a dump.
