This was a treat to my and my wife by her Uncle, and WHAT A TREAT! He said we were going somewhere fancy, so I expected Olive Garden. Unstead, I was treated to TRUE Fine Dining. We were treated with rolls while we ordered and received our appetizers. We had Candied Brussel Sprouts and Pork Belly for an appetizer. Pleasant dining experience, the Octopus and Cauliflower appetizers were excellent. The entrees were fine but were not on the same level as the apps. The lava cake served its purpose. The dining room was very comfortable and service was on point
Chef Larounis is celebrating 30 years at The Heights, but this was our first time at The Heights, where the meal was the highlight of our trip. James is a truly creative chef: our entrees combined sweet and savory elements, and myriad textures, in the great tradition of French cuisine (with a nod to the older Ottoman).
