I want to take a moment to thank the Memory Care Director Karen Moemeka for the compassion and kindness she showed to my husband while he was at the Hebrew Center. Her ability to truly see him not just as another resident but as a person with dignity and a need for engagement was so meaningful. instead of letting him sit in the hallway, she would take him to the sensory room where he could experience more comfort and simulation.
