terrible experience. i had the hearth doctor come out to do a routine cleaning of a linear fireplace. we wanted a more red flame than the blue see through flame we were getting. that was the only issue we had before they came out. after they left the fireplace started creaking, there was bubbling of the paint above the fire place, and there was cracking in the tile of the fireplace. they offered to come back to try to figure out what was wrong and we scheduled a 3 hour window for them to show up during the work day between 2... read more

Yes we did come out and cleaned the fireplace and made all the adjustments you wish for then he reported to us that the fireplace tile had cracked above the fireplace We contacted the manufacture they agreed with us that something is not right behind all this is not something that you can see in a normal inspection unless you have x-ray vision and I dont know anyone who does So we set up a time to come out to do a free inspection behind the wall we were going to drill a hole through your cracked grout what you agreed to do t... read more
Beware! They take advantage of women! Charged me $1,001.36 to "clean and service" 3 fireplaces, fix a fireplace they told me had a gas leak and install a remote kit on gas logs. They didnt clean the gas logs (still had black soot all over all 3 of them), they only replaced some embers which I could have done myself. They claimed to give a 90 day warranty on the gas log remote kit they installed. The 1st time I tried to use the gas logs the new remote kit they installed 13 days prior didnt work. This is mostly lies Youre saying we take advantage of women?Im not sure how this is but it is unfounded and not true We did complete three services to 3gas fireplaces They needed a gas valve replaced it was their choice to replace it and the unit worked when we left the house I also wanted us to look at a fire pit at their house which we did and we did not charge them to look at it although we normally charge an inspection fee to look at another appliance But we did not charge him for this Then we gave them a cost to repair ... read more
Save your money and go to a reputable company. They did not install our fireplace until 3 months after they said they would, they lost the bricks and forgot to order parts. The dimensions were off and the paint was done poorly. It's been 3 years and we had to have the gas company repair the line because of leaks. $12k for the entire fireplace remodel and we still had to get it repaired. The customer service was terrible. Treatment for my wood burning fireplace: they applied a heat shield to the flue tiles, cleaned and sealed the outside brick and were very nice and quoted price was reasonable for the time and work completed.
Worst Company I have dealt with in a long time. After 2 appointments and a failure to show up, I got yelled at on the phone for not paying a bill I never received for a service that was never rendered. I was told they had too many other clients and they did not care about my issues.
We received a recommendation to use this company to help convert our fireplace to a gas log set up. They have been the most dishonest and rude company. We knew going in that our chimney was damaged and asked that someone come out to ensure it could be cleaned and capped. This was in Nov 2020. We sent pictures to show the damage. They said they could do the work no problem. The appointment in Dec came and their technician said no way could the work be done, we needed to rebuild the firebox and got a quote. We did go out and inspect his gas line and gas logs and could not get any gas to come through the gas line. So we bypassed his gas line with an LP tank and the unit did not work very good we cleaned off the burner and cleaned out the pilot and it seem to work OK so we set up a time to come back and run the new gas line we did that in the unit seem to work OK the installer again had to clean the pilot but it is 15 years old vent free gas logs are not really made to last much longer than that but the unit seem to work OK when ... read more
