In 2023, UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine's visual artist, Sarah Hinds, began hosting mosaic heart-making workshops in schools, community centers, and parks with the intention of a permanent mosaic installation in the heart of Gainesville, FL. The project was officially named “the HeART Wall: A Love Letter to Gainesville, from Gainesville”, and the theme of hearts runs even deeper than the title.
