This was my first time using St. Joseph’s hospital. I had surgery last Thursday and everyone that works there was so kind to me. From the check in for my pre op, to the recovery room. They were all great!! Jan was wonderful and so sweet to me and my family. She even called to check on me the next day and I received a card in the mail from the hospital. Wonderful experience!!
Arrived around 10 PM with my friend who was experiencing severe abdominal pain, he was not seen until 3:30 AM for blood tests. The nurse proceeded to use unsafe and unsterile IV insertion behavior and after the tests were collected my friend reported severe pain in the area long after insertion of the needle. When this was brought up as a concern we were told he would be seen soon and to wait. It is currently 3:57 AM and we have just arrived to a "room" minutes prior. St Joseph's Hospital is great! So far I have not had a negative experience, it's always been good! And all the people I have encountered, no matter the department or what Dr they are with, they are ALL pleasant. I believe they genuinely care about the patient! So it's 5 Stars from me!
It was a good experience with my Dr, nurses and the anesthesiologist.
