Called to set up an appointment and the dude that answered the call asked me the reason for my call then he transferred me to someone else and explained my problem over again just for them to tell me they can’t get me for a month but didn’t offer to help me out in any way

This place didn’t see us until almost 1 hour past our appointment time. Beyond disrespectful.
As someone who’s Deaf and grew up going to audiologists, I’m very familiar with the process. I made a call for hearing aid repair and I was shocked that I was told this: I would need to pay $250+ for ‘Hearing Aid Transfer’ because I didn’t buy my hearing aids from this center. I’ve been to multiple audiology centers all over the country - West coast, East coast, North, even in the South. and have never heard of this scam.
