DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. It’s literally just a person at a desk who can’t help you at all. No idea why they can’t specify that when you make an appointment.
There is no providers to exam you at this location. This is not a “urgent care”, hopefully they hire a full time provider for this location.
It honestly makes no sense to go to this location if you have a serious issue go to one that is not virtual. Why am I being sent to a virtual urgent car without being told this is what it is. Needed a prescription and couldn’t get it because the doctor is not in person. Makes no sense.
I had a very irritated throat that was red with a white spot. I was able to go online to "save an appointment time," so when I arrived I would not have to wait very long. My appointment was for 9:20 AM and that is when I arrived and was seen immediately. I had filled out insurance info and brieg assesment form online as well. Going to The Health Desk saved me a trip to my APRN in Glastonbury and doubtful I would have been seen that day. The Medical Assistant took my pulse, temperature and blood pressure.
