I worked with Cynthia and Mary and they made the move in process the most painless and easy I have ever experienced l. It’s teams like this that really make the customer experience one to remember for the better. I truly appreciate all there help during the process.
After I moved here in 2021, I gave a five-star review. My experience was great the first year, but with time, it became more and more unpleasant. In the summer of 2024, I had multiple problems with the air conditioner. It was not working for three months before it was finally fixed. That issue was handled very poorly. This year, instead of moving out, I changed the Unit to lower my rent. The transfer was costly and stressful. I must say Cynthia Alvarez was absolutely fabulous. She was very professional and knowledgeable about the property and showed me and my fiancee several apartments. She went above and beyond to make sure that the apartment i choice would be ready for my move in next month. I looked at several apartments that I was considering but after meeting Cynthia it was a no brainer for me. She definitely the reason we will be make Hawthorne our home.
I’ve been at Hawthorne for about a month now and would highly caution against moving in here. Within 24 hours I had 6 service requests opened. The washing machine was broken. The dishwasher leaked. The apartment clearly had not been cleaned, with food stains on the counter that wiped off with a wet sponge. And that all pails in comparison to this patch job on the ceiling that was clearly done incorrectly. The washing machine they eventually replaced.
