Just wanted to share this as a PSA for anyone apartment hunting. I toured this property for my daughter last week. Their automated text message states, "It is company policy that we require a government-issued photo ID for everyone touring at the age of 18 or older." That's perfectly reasonable. What the message does not disclose is that, before you can even tour the property, they require you to upload your driver's license to a third-party website. Absolutely the most useless and unhelpful staff on the planet. First and foremost, it’s impossible to get a pet sitter here as they don’t allow you to have a spare fob. It means if you need someone to watch your pets, they can only come during business hours. This is an absurd policy, and the first time I’ve encountered it in my 10 years or renting.
