They should be called "The Heartless". My father has a progressive autoimmune disease and there is literally nobody but me that can help take care of him and get him to his appointments at a specialist 2 hours away. Does the Hartford care? No. They have denied every single claim I have filed because the paper work is not filled out EXACTLY how they want it. Dishonest tactics. As small business owner, extremely dissatisfied with Hartford. They will quote you one price, charge you a premium, lock you into a year long insurance and not tell you. Do not work with Hartford!
Switched to a different auto insurance carrier, sent in the required paperwork they asked for to cancel the policy and they lost the documents! They scolded ME for not submitting them electronically. Still trying to cancel the policy, and they still send bills to me for the policy. Hartford is garbage!
Rating their customer service a ZERO! No stars, no compliments, nothing nice to say. The Hartford is a joke. Shut their business down because they’re useless.
A poorly organized company in general. Every time I call them their automated phone systems send me to the wrong department. Its like hell. Once I cancelled my home insurance policy and attempted to contact them regarding refunding policy payment for the year back to my lender, I called, got sent to 2 wrong departments, and get put on hold for 2 hours, then the phone just hung up. I am pretty sure people answer the phone real quick when you want to sign up for a new policy though. So yeah, this company is trash.
