If you can get them on the phone you’ll be placed on hold then transferred. They made costly mistakes with my insured property then hung up on me. It took two weeks to settle an auto claim then gave away the totaled vehicle I bought back. As of now the claim is still not settled.

I would give them a 0 if possible but I’m not able to. I called and filed a claim in fall of 2025. Nadia the adjuster ignored my calls until I emailed her about ignoring me. She then filed my claim and sends out an inspector and they tell me my roof is in perfect condition. Move forward to May 2026 after closing my claim and not sending me any documents about any losses my contractor was asking for. My insurance was over $100 a month with Hartford....I switched to AAA insurance same coverage and now I pay a little over $50 a month. Hartford is ripping off customers!!! And this was for car insurance thri Hartford
I only gave 1 star because some of the representatives I've interacted with are polite, if not for that handful of people they would have received 0 stars. As for customer service, it's the pits. Every time we check on claim status there's always a different complaint. So far we've been trying to get a claim processed for 2 months. My advice find another company because this one is a joke and from my experience they don't care about their customers.
