My auto insurance was suspended because I paid $420 - short $80 of the six month premium. Customer service agent Michelle Wright was rude, condescending and patronizing and stated my insurance wouldn't be "reinstated" unless I paid the balance...but she wasn't sure it could be reinstated...being on disability and very fixed income - I borrowed $$ from my room mate..soon as I PAID THE REMAINING $80 my coverage was reinstated immediately...oh..seems Hartford intentionally makes thngs difficult.. can't email, if you chat you ma... read more
This was the worst company I’ve dealt with in my 23 years on earth. They never answer the phones and when they do they are anything but helpful. They pay no attention to detail and misprinted my check after a total loss causing us to have to extend our rental car. I literally had to leave a voicemail threatening legal action in order to finally get someone to contact me back. I would leave 0 stars if possible
Probably the worst company I've ever had to deal with. It's like they purposely try to make it impossible to work with them. I don't get my calls answered or voicemails returned, almost everyone I've spoken with sounds like they have a bad attitude, it takes months to process a claim, I get told paperwork was never received after being told that it was received, etc. Would not recommend, and I currently work in insurance myself so I'm likely to be more understanding and kind on purpose, but my experience has been awful.
Read the reviews people! They are terrible! They do NOT want tO speak to you, much less help you. They state they send 'necessary' paperwork to employers/doctors, but they never receive it. And are MORE than happy to 'close' your claim. AVOID! RUN AWAY!!
