I’ve lived here for about 2 1/2 years now and i hope to continue being part of this community for years to come. Before moving here, I lived in another nearby community with similar sense of hospitality, but Cortland really goes above and beyond for its residents. i took a tour and was considering applying but i don’t want to waste my money bcs im not sure if they accept eviction or not
Not worth the price for us. To earn more stars they would need to be realistic with the price point and charge at least 200-300 less per unit. You can get into a much newer, cleaner apartment for the same price. Older construction, so sliders and doors allow small drafts and we always get the large carpenter ants in our apartment. The older construction also means you hear footsteps above you easily and people talking on their balcony can be heard through the windows and slider. Ever since this community switched from The Harbor at Lake Howell to Cortland Lake Howell, everything has gone downhill fast. I’m keeping my original review so readers can see how much things have changed — and not for the better. Maintenance requests now take multiple attempts before anything gets fixed.
