First off, the Hair Garden is an amazing environment. Located in downtown Biddeford, which is becoming a very beautiful city. You walk into this old brick building with beautiful accents that pay tribute to the city’s history of being a working class mill city. The Hair Garden is filled with plants and life. Jenn (mainehairmaven on socials) is an absolute treasure. As someone with a bit of anxiety around cutting my hair, she made me feel SO comfortable with her thorough consultation & overall kind & warm vibe. Her craft & skill are a 12/10, I couldn’t have asked for a better person and stylist to help me feel like me.
I booked with Audrey Laflamme to get 3-4 inches cut off of my curly hair. It was down to my elbow. I included a picture of my booking, asking for 3-4 inches off, as well as a picture of my hair the night before my appointment. I had drawn a line to show where I wanted it cut. The last picture is the haircut I received. Once I got there, she offered to take my purse for me, which had my phone inside, and she put my purse out of view.
