Other than Tamara's impeccable bio and not to mention, her outstanding work, what impressed me most was her willingness to respond/address the negative reviews posted to this website. TAMARA and her team are fabulous! 18 months ago I came to the shop with desperately damaged hair. After 3 months of specialized protein and steam treatments, my hair and scalp were rejuvenated; my hair's volume returned to that of my teen years. Now my hair is as long as it ever has been! Tamara is a consummate professional and the salon is so welcoming and comfortable.
Courtney is the best, she is very detailed and she made sure that I was happy with my color and style. I am a woman that loves to talk to my stylist and her conversation was great and it didn't hinder her ability to create a beautiful look for me. I have sent coworkers to her as well and they all love her. The owner of the salon seems a bit pushy and that part I didn't like but other than that my experience was great. If you have a chance to stop into this salon ask for Courtney and you will not be dissapointed.
I called thia shop at 4:00am just to check the hours and if they took walk-ins...to my pleasant surprise, Tamara called back!!! She told me she was booked, then asked why I was calling at this time...I explained my hair emergency + birthday celebration...she instantly squeezed me in. With my fingers crossed I showed up. Hair connoisseur was the best experience my hair has ever had. Please do not believe the negative reviews posted. Tamara Taylor is gifted, my hair has not been the same since leaving Tamara. The service is great the staff are friendly and the service is worth the price.
I went to this salon seeking a wash for my extensions. Instead of getting a wash she tried to sell me everything under the sun even trying to convince me I needed a $350 new do. Basically she told me that she didn't want to wash my hair because she didn't put in the extensions herself which is fine, but I wish someone would have said that over the phone.
