Harlow is fantastic! This salon is local, affordable and boutique. Beautiful interior space. Harlow did an amazing job and I let her take full creative control. I have wavy thick hair and it turned out lovely! I look forward to going back!
Courtney is the one and only person I have ever made repeat visits to— especially as I’ve always had a habit of just cutting my own hair— but I have been seeing her for a few years now and she always, always, knocks it out of the park with my cuts. She’s also extremely kind, is into the coolest things, and is a fantastic trooper to have put up with all my yapping for so long! She’s honestly the best 🫶 Thanks again for such a clean cut!
I’ve seen a few different stylists here since I moved to Madison and both were great. I got a cut and color both times and was very impressed. I book last minute so I tend to hop around but I’ve been pleased with the results and my experience, plus the salon is really cute. So it’s official, this is my favorite go-to salon on the east side.
I walked in looking to set up hair appointment, I was not acknloweged or looked at or spoken to. I left after 10 mins. I guess they are not looking for new customers . looking at reviews of people super upset about what they did to their hair says at all. At this point I am not sure why they are business.
I had an absolutely terrible experience with Robyn from "The Rooted Chair." I visited early August for a haircut and the results were disastrous. As someone with 4c hair, I was concerned when she didn't detangle my hair after shampooing and conditioning and proceeded to cut it while wet - again - without combing through it! The aftermath was horrific - my hair was constantly tangled with endless knots and was noticeably uneven.
