Why is this hotel 3 starts? This one needs to be a 5 stars. We are currently on a road trip from San Diego to San Francisco and this is our 3rd stop. The last 2 hotels were expensive and underwhelming to say the least. This is the cheapest one in our line up and is frankly the best. The rooms spacious, clean, the town is cozy and welcoming, the food is great and the service outstanding. Great hotel, location and staff. I had an issue with my vouchers that I won at a Make A Wish event that expired but when I booked it with a Hilton customer service rep she assured me if I booked it before the date they would be fine. When we got to the hotel we were informed that is not the case. I was having trouble calling the Hilton customer service dept. so the manager Yadi (not sure of the spelling) helped me by calling them and explained my situation so when I talked to the rep they apologized for my inconvenience but ... read more
A great surprise! Clean, new feeling rooms; bed was so comfy, large bathroom, ROBES, and a great hang out area with corn hole and games. ( Only thing is I am not sure if there is elevator access to 2nd floor and rooms open out like a motel.) Loved our stay! Well done Hilton!
We had a great stay at the Hansted Hotel in San Ynez. The location is fantastic—it's right next to the shops and restaurants in Solvang, which made it really easy to walk everywhere and enjoy the area. The beds were super comfortable, and the room had some really nice touches. The robes were amazing—soft on the inside and beautiful on the outside—and having a clothes steamer in the room was a great extra that you don’t see very often. One downside was the bathroom door.
