Ms. Doizer is wonderful; however, the facility could benefit from some updates and maintenance. The lobby and main gathering area could use a fresh coat of paint. The drapery in the main space was dirty and discolored, and the chandelier could use dusting. Additionally, many of the chairs are noticeably worn, with chipped paint, and some are unstable or shaky. Replacing or repairing these chairs would help improve the overall appearance and comfort of the facility.
I want to be clear that I had no issues with the Gala Event Space itself. My concern is with With a Twist Bar Service. I paid for an open bar package for 100 guests, but what was provided did not reflect what most people would consider an open bar. Their setup appears to be based on putting out only four to six bottles of each type of liquor, and once the most popular spirit is gone, it is not replenished.
