Have been trying for months to reach Jim Renard or get someone from or with this business to answer the phone. They installed a leaf blaster gutter protection system on our home several years ago. One of the downspouts discharges no water, have pulled it and the tube itself is not clogged so not the problem, obviously up top in the gutter. The overworked opposite corner is causing a big runoff problem on the other side of the house. NOT A PRODUCT FOR NEW JERSEY WEATHER!!! In the freezing weather - the gutter guards FREEZE the melting snow and water runs over the top. During heavy rain the water runs over the top- as if there was no gutter there at all. After 5 months of calling getting little or NO response, contracting Consumer affairs and calling the manufacturer. They finally came out and removed there product and we received a partial refund. This company did a great job installing and cleaning up after the install. However, the water now comes off the roof and falls between the roof edge and the gutter. The rain water does not make it to the gutter. After many months of requesting The Gutter Protection Company come out and rectify the situation, the owner of the company came out and determined that "the shingles of my roof are too short." Had new 6" gutters and leaders installed by Jim and his company last fall. Install was fast, clean and professional and look great on the house. Had one small issue this spring when water from a leader which drops on to a lower roof section was running over the lower gutter. Jim came out to check it and found that an accumulation of tar from the roof had built up and clogged the topper. He rerouted the leader and now it should no longer be a problem.
