I was going to a conference in San Fransisco and flew in a day early to see a band I like here, and I can confidently say that this is the best venue of this size I’ve ever been to. Great sound, clean, pretty good sight lines.
This was our first visit to The Guild Theater in Menlo Park and our experience was literally five stars. This establishment is literally a jewel in the Bay area and I had no idea it existed. Our friends turned us on to it. We saw Larkin Poe and the opener was Effie Zilch. Both bands were intimate and talented and their sets were super tight. Been twice now for shows love it great place
This is truly one of my favorite venues in The Bay. I've been lucky enough to work for a number of bands here and I LOVE getting to work in such a beautiful space. The size helps create a wonderfully intimate show and the sound is always well designed and done. Having 2 bars helps reduce long lines and wait times, but there's also cocktail service at many shows. It is a great small theatre with amazing sound! Parking is not an issue. City lots 1 and 8 are free and do not have restrictions after 6:00. The staff is friendly. Great place to see a show in an intimate setting
