We had a lovely stay at the Guesthouse this past weekend. We had the top floor of the guesthouse. Kitchen was lovely and modern. The house itself had a beautiful original charm. Location was perfect, was lovely to be able to wake up and walk in to town for breakfast. I did find being on the main road you could not sleep with the windows open as it was very loud at all times of the night. Overall a lovely stay and have already recommended to others!

Enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Room was modern, clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly. Carpark was okay, but it's a little tight. Undercover parking was a bonus. Everything is ground floor with no step, so access was easy. The bed was excellent. My only criticism was there was no passive ventilation in the room at night. You can't open the door or window because the light is too bright and you are right on the main drag, so it's a little noisy with the window open. As we checked in and walked into our room there were already people's belongings inside, they thought they were us. Unsure how you do that. Then we asked if there was another room when we were told yes but you'll pay extra, different to most places who upgrade you for the inconvenience. Manager then said we'll move the people out of your room, clean it and offer a bottle a wine. Firstly This was a $5 bottle of wine... thanks.
