I cannot recommend Bryana enough! She is a true professional and has a deep understanding of her methodology and clients. She understands that non-speaking, minimally speaking, and motor in itself is not equivalent to intelligence. Because of this deep understanding, she knows just how to push her clients in ways that strengthen their motor. Through this, she is opening doors for education and communication!
The Growing Place is such a fitting name. Bryana is kind, caring, and extremely patient which allows everyone to feel at ease upon entering. Her passion for helping people and also for her craft allows all of her patients to show growth. I feel so fortunate to have found such a talented, patient therapist as Bryana at "The Growing Place Pediatrics" to do "Spelling to Communicate" therapy with my young adult son who has autism. Bryana is one of the first therapists to offer this kind of ground-breaking therapy in middle Tennessee. After many years of ABA and VB therapy, my son regained limited verbal skills and learned to communicate his basic needs and wants, but reached a plateau and isn't very conversational or able to communicate his deeper thoughts.
