Great Community Atmosphere After owning a home for almost 30 years I decided to sell and rent! My son and I moved to The Plantations at Lafayette in late May of 2024. We absolutely love it. The staff has been very hospitable and attentive to our needs. The apartment is clean and quiet. The maintenance crew has been great. I feel safe here. Don’t do it***** I would put zero stars if it let. Save yourself some money and go rent a house, townhouse or condo from an actual person who cares about their renters. This is a big corporate money hungry company and will squeeze every penny out of you when you try to move out at the end of your lease. And then add on a $1,000 cleaning fee no matter how clean your apartment was when you moved out.

Reviews such as these leave me very conflicted. I always like to take the reviews seriously and respond as such but there are so many flagrant inaccuracies in this review it is difficult. We are not a big corporation. We are a family owned business and never charge exuberant fees upon move-out. In fact, when you move-in you sign a Schedule of Charges that outlines what you will be charged for at move-out if you damage any items or don't leave the apartment in the same condition you received it in. Great price for what you pay for. It's all carpet though. Awesome location.
Inviting I've lived here a year now, and have really enjoyed staying here. It's a family friendly and dog friendly community. It's a quiet area but has very nice amenities that I have found great on multiple occasions especially the gym, computer lab, and conference room.
