If you are military, I would recommend living on base instead. In my experience, military housing has always been fair with security deposits, and I have received my deposit back without issues. At the grove, I was charged cleaning fees when I moved out, even though I left the apartment cleaner than I received it. What makes it more frustrating is that the carpets were not in the best shape when I moved in, and I do not wear shoes inside my home, yet I was still charged for cleaning them and the entirety of my home. There is a serious pigeon infestation throughout the entire complex. They don’t tell you about it when you move in but they poop on our balconies and our cars. They nest over car ports to the point you’re literally stepping in poop to get out of your car but you’re not even ALLOWED to park anywhere else besides your pigeon infested car port. This place was probably “luxury” when they were built 20 years ago but it’s a shame they still can call themselves that when they haven’t upgraded a thing since they opened.
This is probably the most accommodating apartments I have ever seen. To pigeons anyway. Looks like central park at times, the sky is darkened by the multitude of pigeons in the air. Not a bad idea to bring an umbrella... I don't know what can be done, but it I definitely feel outnumbered. 10000 to 1 The apartments in all seriousness are very nice, nice public facilities as well, pool, gym, and playgrounds are all well kept. Just a lot of pigeons 😅

First, and only, complaints I have is the pigeons. I don't know what these flying rats eat but my windshield was splattered one morning; I found it hilarious, but less pigeon population would be great.
