Great experience - the crowd was great, very respectful - being our first time it was nice to go somewhere that the crowds weren't rowdy. We will return, but next year plan it at a time where we can watch a concert or two.

It was lovely - even with all the people there, I felt at peace.

Year-round, the Grotto is a beautiful place to catch some moments of quiet reflection amidst the bustle of the city and craziness of life. The grounds on the upper level are easily worth the price of the elevator ride. Last weekend I went to the Grotto to experience the Festival of Lights, which runs from the day after Thanksgiving until Dec 30 in the evenings. It's truly a delightful family affair, complete with beautiful light displays, a petting zoo, food booths, carolers, choirs, puppet shows, a nativity, and a prayer tr... read more

It was Soo beautiful. The walk through the Christmas lights was amazing. My daughter had a blast. Didn't need to spend a lot of time outside either. The live chior and puppet show were her second favorites next to the lights.
