The Grotto in Portland is a beautiful place. I have not been in sometime but i plan on going back soon.
This was my husband’s first visit, and visiting at this specific statue he had a wonderful experience come to him, he came out with tears in his eyes, by the way he is an animal lover, this is a must visit place when I come to Portland, love the spiritual feeling you get when you come here........
Awesome place to visit, for meditation and reflection
Very refreshing to have such a peaceful and serene place to clear my mind and just breathe so close to home. This was my youngest daughter's first time back since infancy and she loved it.
My daughter and i visited the Grotto a few years ago. It is tranquil, beautiful and a wonder place that is so unexpected within the city of Portland. While you are there you forget there is a big city all around you. It is definitely a must when visiting. If i lived here i would attend mass on Sunday’s.
We had an awesome experience in this place. I felt the presence of the Lord with the Blessed Mother and the Saints. Very peaceful and serene. I can spend the whole day in this place. I pray that people will find out about this place so they can visit and experience the presence of God. I suggest that we have: Good restaurants. Audio walking tour guide .
