Here's a great story on bad business owners.... I receive a gift certificate worth $50.00. Gift cert clearly says "Grill Room, Hauppauge" on it. So I go to the "Grill Room" in Hauppauge to eat dinner..... At the time of paying I present my gift cert and the waitress says to me it's no good as this cert id from 4 years ago... I had to laugh as I received this maybe 7 months ago as a gift... So the owner comes over, very annoyed and says it is no good, he then throws the cert back to me in my face while I am sitting at the tab... read more

Very disappointed! Really disappointing! We were regulars at the original Grill Room and the owner aimed to please. We decided to try it again...the waitress knowingly brought out my entree (rack of lamb) wrong, despite the fact that she was aware that I had not ordered it that way. When it came out the second time around, it was lukewarm at best. My husband's entree was tasteless and not any better. Although the waitress was attentive and nice she did not cook the dinner.
