Bringing SEXY Back ! A friend and business associate just turned me on to this place a few weeks ago. I have returned 5 times. I just love love love it. Beautiful, sexy atmosphere, artfully presented delicious food, cool hip attentive servers. not your parents kind of place, but great for dates and friends. AHI TUNA ! ! !
Bad News Food tasted like a lean cuisine Meal out of the freezer... Service was very slow and our waitress had "NO Manners" she never once came over to see how things were or when the table next to us asked about a price fix menu, we asked her about it and she replied it didnt apply to us.. so i asked the table what they new about it and they acted like it was common knowlege... we later saw the waitdress go over and tell them not to talk to us about it. Very disappointed! Really disappointing! We were regulars at the original Grill Room and the owner aimed to please. We decided to try it again...the waitress knowingly brought out my entree (rack of lamb) wrong, despite the fact that she was aware that I had not ordered it that way. Must eat at the GRILL ROOM... This restaurant is a hidden gem in the middle of an office park. The food is outstanding. The sesame crusted tuna is the best I have ever eaten a d that includes sushi restaurants. Great place for a date and a romantic evening. Live music on friday and saturday!!!!
Horrible Customer Service Skills! Worst Hauppauge Restaurant Here's a great story on bad business owners.... I receive a gift certificate worth $50.00. Gift cert clearly says "Grill Room, Hauppauge" on it. So I go to the "Grill Room" in Hauppauge to eat dinner..... At the time of paying I present my gift cert and the waitress says to me it's no good as this cert id from 4 years ago... I had to laugh as I received this maybe 7 months ago as a gift... New Owners, New Problems, Bring back the good old days I guest you can say i was a regular too. I work around the hauppauge industrial area so i always found myself in The Grill Room. Well NO MORE !! The new owners are absolutely horrible they rush you to your table and don't let you enjoy a drink at the bar and they just look at you when your eating like you are some kind of lab rat. HANDICAPED WOMAN NOT WELCOME! BY THE "CONCH" I have been going to the grill room for fourteen years, you might of called me one of the regulars. It was a great sexy fun place to meet friends and new friends, to laugh, talk, and even cry. The staff is wonderful and attentive and the ex owners were delightful. Good Food, Great Atmosphere The food here was good. The prices were a little high, but the quality made up for it! The atmosphere is great! Too bad its in the middle of nowhere! They have outdoor seating, which makes it the perfect summer restaurant! The Chocolate Crepes and Penne Shrimp Special were delicious! Grill Room is our favorite restaurant You don't want to miss this place. Try the braised short ribs....unbelievable. Also the ahi tuna entree was amazing...melt in your mouth. Attentive service great atmosphere.
