Wow I love this place. Instantly fell in love with it the moment I walked in. Quaint feel to it, super friendly staff, and plenty of cozy sitting areas. The cafe hits the spot.
Great bookstore and coffee bar! We only order our coffee from here.
My 11 year old daughter and I love visiting The Griffin Bookstore. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. There are books for all ages. They also sell a variety of gift options from jewelry, teapots, purses, journals, chap sticks etc Perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee, (which is amazing) and relax. The owner Eileen is sweet and helpful. This is one of those places that is a little gem, not too many bookstores and coffee shops with this kind of collection, and energy. A great local business. Full service coffee bar, great and eclectic selection of books, live music and book signings. There is even an outdoor sitting area. Comfortable chairs inside too. A great spot to stop in when walking downtown Fredericksburg. The owner is super friendly and knows every title in her store. She ordered us 2 books she didn't have and mailed them to us when they arrived.
