The Greene Turtle started in Ocean City as a place where beer was king and the "menu" consisted of a barrel of peanuts. Over time, we've grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. We make hearty food using fresh ingredients and highlight the blue crab dishes that are authentic to the Mid-Atlantic. Gather around and try food that's so good that you'll have to share.

In my experience, the food at The Green Turtle has been hit-or-miss, sometimes good, as often less so. On my last visit we took advantage of their outside seating, a nice shaded patio. Unfortunately we were treated to the smoke of a nearby smoker and a less-than attentive waitress. Update 4/1/24: Food was pretty good and the waitress was good and pleasant but the food was very slow (probably 45 minutes). Particularly given that there were not many people there.
There for a private party. Food and service was great.
Went for lunch with my wife and my almost 2yr old (20 months) - The hostess seemed very unhappy to be there (I get it, retail jobs aren't great, been there done that but c'mon) and she did not get us a high chair/booster seat for our kid, I had to go back and grab one myself. I ordered specific items from their menu & nothing was correct. NOTHING. I ordered tots which was an option for the burgers & fries came instead. I ordered jalapeños on a. Burger & nothing was on the burger. Nothing at all. Disgusting what they charge for delivery when the orders are all wrong. Never again. Response to owner: My order was placed Friday, 3/15/2024 at approx. 6-7pm. 2 burgers, blackened chicken wrap, mozzarella sticks.
Baby shower here for my daughter-in-law. Private room & delicious food. Highly recommend.
