What sports bar changes from a major college football bowl game - the only game on at the time - in the middle of the 4th quarter - to put on a completely meaningless mid-season hockey game? This place does. I was willing to overlook the decline in food/drink quality, but this was inexcusable and amateurish. You have lost my business - permanently. Yes, this was the Penn State - Washington Fiesta Bowl, which came down to the final minutes.

Was there for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. No wonder this place is always dead. The manager walked past us twice with eye contact and made no effort to ask anything. My advice is just stay away from here

Business response:

Went on a Sunday evening at 5:30pm and it was pretty empty. We were seated promptly but service was very slow. I'd guess all of our food could have come out a little bit faster if they didn't overcook everything. French onion soup was way over salty, boneless wings were fried to death, pretzel sticks were crispy as was the bun for my sandwich. We'd avoided GT for a few years and now I'm reminded why. We won't be back.

Business response:

Mike- we are sorry to hear about this experience. We would like to learn more about your specific situation and make things right. If you would like to discuss this further please send us an email at contactus@thegreeneturtle.com. We look forward to speaking with you and working towards earning back your business.

We are Green Turtle regulars but the Mt. Airy one is not a top choice. We love the menu and like the Westminster branch better, food preparation and presentation is much better. We have even dined at the GT in Dover De. when there for the NASCAR weekend. Can't wait to try the new Urbana restaurant.

Business response:

Hi Bonnie- thanks for reaching out and we are happy to hear you love our brand! We would like to discuss your experiences with the Mt Airy location and learn more on how we can improve. If you would like to discuss this further please send us an email at contactus@thegreeneturtle.com.

Stopped on our way back from OC ordered a cheeseburger well done when I got it no cheese and pink was not happy but the manager came over and was very nice offered me something else because I didn't want the burger after sending it back twice so hubby got a free tshirt! They were very friendly and were very apologetic! Would stop again on our way home! The green tea shots were delicious

Great Greene Turtle! The drinks were cold and all the food was hot and on point. Our server, Luke was really friendly and took great care of my friends and I! I look forward to coming back!
